Design Portfolio Marketing Services is one of the leading specialist financial design consultancies, providing corporate communications consultancy and creative expertise to over 120 London Stock Exchange quoted clients. We have a highly talented workforce all of whom are dedicated to providing the very best levels of service to our demanding client base. To better serve our clients, we have offices in Batley, Cambridge and Gatwick as well as a head office in London. We require a talented individual to manage our clients annual report projects in an effective and efficient way. The ideal candidate would be assertive in managing and dealing with clients as a very senior level, designers, artworkers, tyepsetters, proof readers etc. Any knowledge of print, design and website production would be a distinct advantage but full training will be provided. The suitable candidate will act as the main point of contact for clients and the candidate should be confident when dealing with directors of publicly listed companies. The right candidate would be self assured when presenting and be able to translate design concepts in an effective and positive manner. Acting as project manager the candidate must be able to manage several project at once as well as being able to deliver them on time and on budget.
Duties and skills required include
Taking design briefs from clients. Actively listening and translating the clients requirements to the design team.
Presenting design concepts and ensuring they meet the clients needs and convey the key messages identified.
Managing a team of designers, typesetters, proof readers and artworkers.
Preparing and managing all costs involved in the projects.
Confident in dealing with budgets.
Able to build and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
