A superb opportunity for an experienced SQL Database Administrator to join a very professional computing team. The right candidate will be able to match the job requirements:
Skill Set Level
Experience in SQL Server Database Administration, including database security, backup and recovery, installing, patching and upgrading SQL Servers
Demonstrable skills in SQL Server 2000/2005 administration and development using T-SQL
Back-up / Recovery
Database development and database design
Performance Tuning and Performance Optimization
Database Migration
SQL Server Intelligence Service
Microsoft SharePoint
Reporting Service
Analysis Services
Business Analysis
Problem Analysis
Communication Skills – written and verbal
Work within a team
Work on own
Project leadership
Role: - Part of a team designing, supporting and enhancing business system requirements.
Requirements: - A computing degree or equivalent experience, 3/4 years minimum in a commercial environment. Ability to apply and maintain technical knowledge to ensure that reliable, low maintenance SQL infrastructure is available to meet the business needs. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work with minimal supervision, but also the ability to work well as part of a team.
