Description Very successful Private Mobile Radio Communication Services company are looking to recruit an International Business Development Manager. The responsibilities of the role include establishing sales targets and building excellent business relationships with distributors. It is important that the candidate has at least 4 years sales experience, previous experience of indirect/distributor sales. The candidate should have a degree in business or a related discipline and professional sales training would be a distinct advantage. The right candidate must also be able to travel extensively, sometimes at short notice. It would also be useful is the candidate was multilingual. The BDM will be responsible for building a distributor network in Asia, whilst also having strategically important accounts of their own. The successful candidate will be based in Asia for 3 weeks at a time. The employer would like to see your CV for this position if your skills match the following: 1. You have a strong knowledge of the PMR market sector, TETRA, Command and Control 2. Minimum sales experience of 4 years and previous experience of indirect/distributor sales. 3. Appreciation of the technical aspects of Radio Systems. 4. The confidence to present to Senior management and international government organisations. 5. Previous experience working in Asia would be an advantage. 6. A degree in business or a related discipline and professional sales training would be an advantage. The right candidate will have an extremely professional manner, accompanied with a pro-active, goal orientated approach and the self motivation to succeed regardless of the challenge. Exceptional leadership and motivational skills are essential to drive the team of distributors forward in order to achieve specific business objectives and sales targets. The BDM will also be innovative, methodical and consultant in your work practice, with a high degree of commercial awareness.
